Set Free at Sea cares about you and your loved one..

Death is something that we all see in a completely different way. Our staff at Set Free at Sea (SFAS) have all lost loved ones very dear to them.. In some cultures death this s a very normal occurrence that is not taken as a sad moment, but simply the rebirth of that person into a completely new realm. To some cultures, the body is just a shell and the soul moves on to a better existence, so they have a much faster period of grief.

We seem to have a harder time dealing with the death of our loved ones because we have more of an attachment to their physical presence. There is a very long process that starts with extreme sadness and difficulty being able to detach yourself from the person that has passed away. This is probably the most painful part of the process, but the important thing is that we are able to accept the departure of that person and the fact that they will never again be in our presence.

After a person experiences sadness and even anger, there will also be some feelings of guilt when the person starts to remember everything they did wrong when interacting with that individual. This is a very normal thing to experience and the best way to avoid it is to remember that we all make mistakes and punishing ourselves with things that can’t be resolved is useless

We all agree that remembering the fond times in light of the bad times, can help create a positive atmosphere to grieve in a healthy way. Set free at sea is happy to help you. We are here to talk if you ever need us. We understand the attachment to the physical presence of our loved ones. This is one of the Best parts of being in this business. Turning sorrow into something so beautiful, it can heal the most hurt of hearts to know your loved one is turned into a lasting legacy that will eternalize them into the planet, save species, and just overal keeping a good earth/life balance.
